October Goals

Wednesday, October 01, 2014

Pinch, punch, first of the month...

I can't believe it's already October, where has this year gone? There are lots of upcoming events this month including my Birthday, my giveaway and Halloween just to name a few (and did you know it's also national chocolate week 13-19th October?! Any excuse to eat chocolate, haha, nom!)

  • Have a wardrobe clear out. Now that summer is over and autumn/winter is here it's time to pack away all of my summer dresses and unpack the jumpers! Since I've lost lots of weight this summer, it's also a good opportunity for me to try on and pass on those that no longer fit. If you're planning on doing the same, it's easiest to create four categories; keep, sell, charity shop and throw away. Only sell clothes that are in excellent condition!
  • Have a serious think about my future career. For the past year or so I've felt a little bit lost in my job. Some days I love it, some days I hate it, but one constant remains the same... 'this job just isn't for me'. I've found a masters degree that I'm really considering applying for. The great thing is, it's a two-year distance course so I can still keep working and earning money!
  • Go to the Ice Bar in London for my Birthday. It's all booked up and I cannot wait!!!
  • Read 'The Woman In Black'. I've seen the film and really enjoyed it (although not totally convinced Daniel Radcliffe was correct for the part - he just seemed way too young to have a son!) and I recently purchased a copy of the book. What better time to start reading it than the Halloween month?!

What are your goals for this month?

Check back at the end of the month to see how I get on!!
