Well hi there!

I'm Steph!  
I just wanted to say thanks for visiting, and to take the opportunity to tell you about who I am and what I do...

I'm based in Chelmsford, Essex (originally from London) and I'm a passionate and persistent soul; who is ridiculously happy when cuddled up with a hot chocolate and a good boxset. By day I work in admin and in the evenings I'm a pub quiz host! (I'm always asked whether I know everything, with the amount of questions I have managed to put together and have read aloud, but no, I can safely say I don't!) In my spare time - or when my boyfriend decides he wants to play the PlayStation for a few hours - I blog! I'm not one of these super organised bloggers who schedules every post and lives by a timetable; I blog when I feel I have something important to discuss, so you may have to give the occasional gap between posts every now and then.

That said, my blog is more than just a website for reviews and opinions.  Although I started the blog years ago as a bit of fun, last year I suffered a mental breakdown and was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, and later depression. I was signed off of work for almost a year and blogging became an outlet and a form of therapy for me.

I do still battle with my mental health, and I am proud to stand up and say so.  In fact, I struggled so much to find a way to articulate what was happening when I was first diagnosed, that I decided to share my experiences in the hope they may be able to help others. Therefore you will find that my blog contains beauty and lifestyle related posts, and posts that are dedicated to raising awareness of mental health.

I would love to shop for a job. I could literally shop all day and not get bored.
I love dogs. If you have one, be warned I will probably be tactically thinking about a way to sneak it into my bag!
I don't drink tea or coffee... the only hot drink I like is hot chocolate (especially Costa's black forest hot chocolate at Christmas!)
