I discovered Makeup Revolution a while back before they started selling their products in Superdrug stores. Their prices are SO budget friendly and they have such a large range of products and colours that there is literally something for everyone... but I feel rather guilty in saying that I had never actually tried any of their products! That is until last weekend when I splurged some of my hard earned cash in Superdrug on a make up haul! Now, I have to say, I'm addicted and have made myself a little wishlist ready for my next payday! (Only a week to go!)
(Clockwise)
1. Clear Skies Nailpolish £1.49
2. Stippling brush £3
3. Cheer lipstick £1
4. Eye primer £2.50
5. Kajal £2
6. 100 Eyeshadow Palette £12
7. Death by Chocolate Pallet £7.99
I am sooo excited for summer, I've been buying loads of pretty skirts and dresses recently in the sales and I'm just dying to get them out of the wardrobe. If only it was warmer! I always seem to struggle when it comes to shoes though, does anybody else have that problem? It seems my choices are dolly / ballet shoes or flip flops. I've literally worn out my Abercrombie & Fitch flip flops over the past couple of years, so I've been on the lookout for some new ones!
I found out about ipanema.uk.com online and had a browse through their website. I literally could have made a wishlist featuring every single pair, but after mooching about their website for nearly an hour, managed to whittle it down to my top 5...
1. Lolita Flip-Flop £20
How pretty is that little gold bow?! I love the gold and cream colour combination. They're so pretty and fresh, yet have an elegance about them as well - I think I would be able to wear these to a party and not have to worry about whether they are classy enough!
2. Lipstick Wedge £35
I love wedges and the design on the sides are so pretty! I wear a lot of blue so these would go really well with nearly everything in my wardrobe.
3. Vitraux Sandal £30
These would be perfect for strolling along the beach or going to a festival. I like that they have a cute ankle strap making them perfect for doing more active things in the sunshine, like a bike ride.
4. Switch Straps Flip Flop £25
These are my absolute personal faves! I love the gold and purple pattern and I also love that the straps are interchangeable. It means that no matter what I'm wearing, I would have the flip flops to match!
5. Unique II Flip Flops £16
There's a huge range of designs to pick from from the Ipanema Unique range, where the two shoes don't match - but yet they match perfectly!

I'll be honest, while I'm a huge fan of Zoe Sugg, aka Zoella's YouTube channel(s) until yesterday I had never actually watched any of Tanya Burr's videos! I was walking around Superdrug yesterday evening and noticed a great promotion in-store; buy the new Colgate Optic toothpaste and get a Tanya Burr nail varnish completely free!! It seems a bit strange to get a free nail varnish with a toothpaste, but I'm always up for a bargain, so I picked it up and took it to the till.
I picked the shade 'Be Bright, Be Happy, Be You' which is a gorgeous, almost neon in certain light, fuchsia pink colour. I love the choice of names that Tanya has chosen for her products. She's named her products things like 'Afternoon Tea', 'Little Duck' and 'Midnight Sparkles', which I think are really cute.
I was super impressed by the texture of the varnish as it was really smooth, with a great pigment. I always get really annoyed when I buy a pretty nail varnish that requires about 6 layers before the colour starts to actually look like the bottle. I can happily say that this is not the case with this nail varnish - I only applied 2 layers and it looks perfect.
The other great thing I noticed was that it dries really quickly. Recently I've been buying Rimmel nail varnishes because of their speedy 60 second dry time, so was a little worried that this might take forever and smudge everywhere, but once again, I was proven wrong! Dare I say it, I think it might even be better than Rimmel?!?!
In my opinion it's a little bit pricey at £5.99 per bottle, but if you look out for promotions (Superdrug often run 3 for 2 offers) or you scout online on other websites like nailpolish.co.uk, Amazon or eBay, then you might be able to find a bargain.
