Zac Posen is renowned in the fashion world, particularly for his handbags and wedding dresses and last month teamed up with Mac to release three new lipsticks.  

Of the three shades available (the others being a vibrant orange called 'Darling Clementine' and a bright pink called 'Dangerously Red') I opted for the subtle nude shade called 'Sheer Madness' which has a lustre finish. The packaging for the lipstick reminds me of the Brooke Shields collection, as it's not  Mac's usual 'bullet' shape but instead a chunky grey block with the Mac logo and Zac Posen's logo printed on one side. 

I wasn't blown away by this lipstick to be honest as the colour is a so sheer that it is barely noticeable, and this particular shade reminds me of the two lipsticks in the Cinderella range that Mac released last year.

That said, this is still perfect for everyday wear as it is a safe, subtle and neutral shade, perfect if you want just a hint of shimmer on the lips.
